What is a Latex Mattress?

Latex Mattress

One of the few sustainable resources promoting the preservation of rain forests, latex rubber has remarkable advantages when used in bedding. A Latex Mattress conforms to the contours of the body creating a cushion in which no pressure points are caused during rest. This unique and natural material is remarkable not only for its immediate health and comfort benefits, but also for its ability to withstand the test of time. Take for example the Nu-Lex latex mattress series, mattresses that are built with 100% Natural Latex, which offer health benefits that include being anti-microbial, naturally hypoallergenic, naturally dust-mite resistant and mold and mildew resistant. Latex mattress variations like the Carmel or a Natural Lux offer the same benefits, and all types of latex mattress can be totally customizable, even for his and her sides.

I have had queen size latex for 30 years and although there's a bit of a hump that's developed in the middle because of two sleeping in the bed, the part we sleep on is perfect. There has been absolutely no breakdown of material. We have rotated the mattress and vacumed regularly. I'm looking to replace it now only because it's been 30 years. I will probably replace with the same except to add a topper.

I have had a Latex Mattress for 30 years and just this year replaced with another latex mattress. There was only a bit of sagging in the middle so we had it recovered into couch cushions that you sit on because the core was still in tact. Absolutely no other issues. We love our mattress and highly recommend it.
